Pocketwatch Stock Photo - Blogging Time

Blogging can be very rough, I’m not going to lie. There are some nights which you must stay up until the wee hours of the morning promoting your articles, writing new content, blasting out e-mails.. whatever you’re business may be. Time efficiency is extremely important, and I’ve come to understand some very keen and insightful uses for time management.

As a blogger you need to put your work first, always make sure your content is posted at certain dates for your readers to expect. You also need to make sure that your content isn’t just keywords thrown together – actually engage your reader! Try and bring them into what you’re writing about. This will help them relate better to your blog, and thus continue to read more of your posts in the future.

IndianPad.com Home Page

There are many social news and social media sites popular for submitting your news articles. Digg and Reddit are the first 2 that come to mind, but there are tons more without thinking too hard. Some rank higher with PR9 and PR8 settings, while there are easier places to hit the front page ranking PR5 and PR6.

One site I’ve worked with is IndianPad, and I have had some ups and downs here. Overall I wouldn’t suggest using IndianPad for your social media and news submissions. It’s ultimately a waste of time and your articles may not even get published, and I’ll give you the low-down in this post.

How I got my Website from PR0 to PR4 in 2 Months

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

Google PageRank is one of the strangest things. Google Along with your overall rank given by Alexa, Google decides to rank each of your website’s pages on a number 1-10, the higher the better your site is optimized and linked through search engines. Many people strive to get high PageRanks because it’s a good selling point for advertisers, and you can market your blog to a broader audience.

But there is a problem. It takes time, and a lot of work to build up your PageRank, especially to the level of a popular site like Digg(PR8) and Twitter(PR9). But that doesn’t mean you can’t get it done exceptionally fast, like in the time for Google’s next update! Continue reading…

Wondering About Bookmarking Demon: To Buy or Not to Buy?

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

Bookmarking Demon I have seen many different pieces of software out there, ranging from Craigslist posters to MySpace Friend Adder’s and Automated Diggers, but I have never heard as much hype as I have with Bookmarking Demon. I have not actually tried Bookmarking Demon myself, but I am contemplating purchasing it.

Originally priced at $197, the software is discounted at $50 for a limited time and is being sold at $147. Although still pretty steep for some software, it apparently comes with a lifetime of updates and support, although how long will the software stick around for updates? I have purchased some pieces of software relating to social networking (mostly Twitter and Facebook related), but Bookmarking Demon is supposed to take care of Continue reading…
