Blogger Den – My New Pligg site for Bloggers and Designers

Blogger Den Logo Ever since Digg launched all those years ago, everyone has been looking to create the next popular Digg site. Websites like Mixx, Dzone, DesignFloat, DesignBump, and many others have popped up – many of them based on the popular Pligg platform. After taking some time to realize what I have an interest in (blogging and web design), I decided to create my own Pligg-based website: bloggerden.com. Mostly targeted towards internet marketers and people looking to make money online, Blogger Den is a Digg-styled site featuring the most popular blog posts, social networking sites, videos and web content relating to helping bloggers make money online. I create the site after needing a good resource and directory to go for to get daily blogging tips and update myself on the latest blogs online.

If you are an internet marketer or blogger, I would definitely recommend checking out Blogger Den and even registering for an account. I welcome you all to submit all of your articles to the site – blogging, AdSense, Marketing, Design, programming… anything internet related is welcome in the Blogger Den! I am looking to build the site into a huge resource for all of the blogging community, so feel free to drop by and give it a glance.

I created the Pligg template design within a week or so, basing it on the classic Digg theme. Everybody who’s anybody remembers signing up for Digg 2-3 years ago when the design was easy to navigate and the home page wasn’t crammed with crappy articles and run by power diggers. Well that’s my goal with Blogger Den – getting back to the basics and bringing nostalgia to all of the bloggers and techie guru’s who used to roam Digg’s alleyways back in the day.

As always, I’m interested in critiques and thoughts about the site, so please leave some feedback either here in the comment section, or shoot me an e-mail on my contact page. I just bought the domain name about 2 weeks ago, so the site is still relatively new but I’d love to see how quickly the site can grow.

Doesn’t people always create the next new popular website that comes out? lol.

The website ( bloggerden.com ) seems clean and nice. Good work on it.

This is very interesting since I’m also considering converting my current soccer blog into a news aggregator for the soccer blogging community…with the soccer world cup around the corner, i guess it’s about time i stop talking and go into action mode…have already spotted an ideal pligg theme for it.
