Review of CypherBox – New Pligg site for Tech and IT Articles

Digg has shot into mainstream. Everybody wants to hit the front page, injecting thousands of visitors to your site. Unique visitors = new traffic = possible repeat traffic = $$$. Simple formula, where everything is equal and makes sense. Basically, social news allows your to reach a much wider audience with your blog posts.
Since Digg’s popularity everyone has wanted to create a micro-niche off of Digg – and thus Pligg was born. One such website based on Pligg that has turned very popular is CypherBox. The name may be strange, but it’s a fantastic Pligg-based social news and media website for almost anything tech!
I frequently find myself getting visitors referred to my site through Cypherbox. It’s not very difficult to hit the front page, 3 or 4 box’s will do it. You won’t find yourself getting a ton of traffic through CypherBox, but you should see a noticeable amount over time. This is especially true if you write a lot of articles and find yourself submitting most of them to CypherBox.
The site has a wide range of categories. You’ll find almost anything and everything you need to submit to, and I’m sure your article will fit in!l Web Design, Graphics, Databases, Marketing, Audio Editing and even Operating Systems are included in this list! The collection seems to go on and on, and it seems like there’s an endless supply of useful content under each.
The Benefits of Social Media and CypherBox
So would I suggest checking out the site? Absolutely. It’s a fantastic website, customized theme (though still based on the classic Digg theme from years ago) and features some fantastic articles. You won’t get as much traffic as from Digg, but think about how fast CypherBox is growing. There are more and more registered users on there each and every day – and they’re all looking for unique content to check out!
If you have any unique experiences with the site or want to share words of wisdom about social bookmarking, feel free to leave something in the comments. There’s always room for discussion, and I’m sure there’s plenty of advocates out there for this great Pligg-based Digg-themed social media website.
